After more than 15 years working at FV Hospital, Ms Nguyen Thi Thu Anh has nurtured her love for FV and nurtured a sense of pride for her work has not changed. She has made many contributions to the hospital and those efforts have always been recognised. However, the Shining Star of August 2022, is for Ms Thu Anh, who brings remarkable memories in her career.

Ms Thu Anh remembers her feelings of the first day when she came to FV. The desire to practice her trained knowledge at an international hospital motivated her to work for FV. “It was an unforgettable feeling, FV was very beautiful and modern in my eyes, at that time I really wanted to work at FV”, Ms Thu Anh shared her feeling at her interview more than 15 years ago.

The job has helped her stabilise her finance, more importantly, it also brought other great values to her life. In recent years Ms Thu Anh started working at the Infectious Disease Department throughout the 3 years of the COVID-19 pandemic. The knowledge she learned and applied, along with the support and solidarity of the FV Family made her love her work more.

Recalling the first days at work, Ms Thu Anh said that she encountered many difficulties, especially in communication. The model approach of an international standard healthcare place, working to comply with policies to enhance patient safety principles, initially posed certain obstacles. However, she always thanked the Board of Directors, and the management team to be sincere and supportive, that felt like a family.

In addition, she put a lot of effort to improve her foreign language skill ​​to meet the needs of her colleagues, and foreign patients. “It is because of those difficulties, I feel that I am more mature and stable in my future career”, Ms Thu Anh shared. Just like that, with honesty, willingness to listen and a desire to learn, she has seen her work improve day by day over the past 15 years.
