As of June 2025, FV Hospital has officially launched a medical instalment payment programme, making high-quality international healthcare more accessible to the community. This initiative reaffirms FV’s strong commitment to bringing world-class medical services to Vietnamese patients.
Breaking Down Treatment Costs into Instalments for Easier Access to Care
Illness can occur without warning, often leaving many individuals unprepared both emotionally and financially. For those facing serious conditions, delaying diagnosis or treatment due to financial constraints may reduce the chances of effective care – and, in some cases, can pose a serious risk to life.
In response to these challenges, FV has introduced an instalment payment option for hospital fees and medical services from June 2025. This programme is designed to ease the financial burden on patients and their families, enabling them to focus on treatment and recovery. With a “treat now, pay monthly” approach, patients can access timely care and benefit from FV’s advanced medical services and international standards of healthcare.

In collaboration with VNPay, FV Hospital has launched an instalment payment programme for hospital fees, available via credit card issued by over 30 banks in Vietnam. For any transaction of VND 3 million or more, cardholders can convert the payment into monthly instalments for up to 12 months. Notably, if the 3-month instalment plan is selected, FV Hospital will fully cover the conversion fee.
“For treatments involving long-term care and high costs, such as cancer, hospital expenses are often a major burden for patients and their families. By breaking down the cost into smaller monthly payments, the financial pressure becomes more manageable,” explained Dr Jean-Marcel Guillon, CEO of FV Hospital.
Expanding Access to International-Standard Healthcare Services
As a multi-specialty hospital, FV is equipped with advanced technology and staffed by experienced Vietnamese and international medical professionals. The hospital provides high-quality care and is recognised as one of the few facilities in Vietnam capable of successfully managing highly complex and challenging cases. FV is also among the select hospitals in Vietnam to have received the prestigious JCI Gold Seal of Approval® for international healthcare quality -awarded four consecutive times. In its most recent evaluation in April 2025, JCI experts recognised FV as one of the best and safest hospitals in Southeast Asia.

Dr Jean-Marcel Guillon, CEO of FV Hospital, stated: “FV offers medical care on par with top-tier hospitals in Southeast Asia, including those in Thailand, the Philippines, and Malaysia – at only half the cost. In addition, since its founding, FV has implemented a 20% financial support policy for patients without private health insurance, whether or not they hold state-issued health coverage.”

As part of its ongoing commitment to better support patients in Vietnam, FV Hospital is working to expand acceptance of Vietnam’s national health insurance coverage for its medical services. Beginning 1 January 2026, FV plans to officially apply national health insurance coverage to all inpatient and outpatient services.

In addition to the 20% financial support policy for patients without private health insurance, which FV has maintained for over two decades, the instalment payment programme and the upcoming application of national health insurance coverage reflect FV’s ongoing commitment and sense of social responsibility in helping ease the financial burden on patients and their families. At the same time, these initiatives create greater opportunities for Vietnamese people to access a standard of healthcare and treatment comparable to international hospitals in the region – at a reasonable cost, and without the need to travel abroad, thereby significantly reducing overall expenses.
