In the Paediatric Department of FV Hospital, a father was playing with his six children as they waited to receive a health check. Anyone who came across the scene could not help but smile as the children laughed with their father as he took care of them.
The father was Mr Do Manh Cuong, a designer who lives in HCMC, and he was sitting with his six adopted children. On that morning, March 6th, 2020, Mr Manh Cuong received a special gift from FV Hospital: Six Privilege Membership cards for his children. With these cards, his children will now receive unlimited free health examinations and medical treatment in all of FV’s departments, and any accident medical bills will be covered by insurance. In addition, they also enjoy other privileges, including benefits for the Priority Membership. The details of which are as follows: Privilege Membership
Whilst many people know that Mr Manh Cuong is a famous Vietnamese fashion designer, they may not have learnt he is extremely compassionate towards children in need. During his tours and volunteering trips, Mr Manh Cuong has adopted six orphaned children from disadvantaged backgrounds: Hoang Phuc (6 years old), Gia An (6 years old), Linh Dan (3 years old), Ha My (10 months old), Huy Minh (8 months old) and Ngan Ha (3 months old). Receiving a special gift from FV Hospital, Mr Manh Cuong happily shared: “FV is a professional and clean hospital. Moreover, the doctors here are very enthusiastic. That’s why I am very happy when my children receive their healthcare membership cards here. I would like to thank FV Hospital for their sincere sympathy”. He added: “If possible, I desire to set up an orphanage to help more orphaned children”.
In addition to the Privilege Membership Cards, FV Hospital also supports Mr Manh Cuong’s children by covering 50% of the cost for non-insured treatment. FV is fully aware of the importance of healthcare for children and how it can affect their development as they grow up.
