At midday on February 27, 2025, FV Hospital’s Garden Area hosted a special gathering to mark the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors’ Day. The event was both a tribute to the dedication of the medical team and an opportunity to reflect on the remarkable medical achievements of the past year while setting new goals for the future.

Honouring Unwavering Dedication
The programme opened with a congratulatory message from Chief Financial Officer, Ms Tran Le Quyen, addressing the entire team of doctors and medical staff. She highlighted FV’s remarkable progress, made possible by the dedication of all employees, especially the doctors. “Medicine is not just a profession; it is a profound love for humanity. Doctors are a source of hope for patients, helping them lead better lives”, she shared. With over 300 doctors treating approximately 13,000 patients annually, Ms Le Quyen expressed her confidence that FV’s doctors are shaping a world-class healthcare system for the community.

Continuing the programme, Dr Vu Truong Son – Medical Director, MSc, highlighted that dedication, professional excellence, and strong collaboration among all departments are key drivers of FV’s growth. “Human-centred philosophies, such as patient-centred care and a culture of fairness, continue to be upheld, enabling FV to enhance the quality of healthcare every day,” Dr Son stated.

In an era of rapid technological advancement, AI is playing an increasingly vital role in diagnosing and treating diseases. However, the doctors at FV firmly believe that no technology can replace the compassion and dedication of healthcare professionals. “Empathy for patients, patience, and wholehearted commitment to every case are what define the true value of a doctor,” shared Dr Nguyen Thi Lam Giang – Former Head of the Anaesthesiology & ICU Department.

Representing the young generation of doctors and a leading figure in applying advanced techniques to treat complex diseases, Dr Huynh Huu Danh – Department of Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiology, shared: “The unwavering support from my colleagues has provided me with an ideal working environment to grow professionally”. Additionally, Ms Nguyen Tra My – Liaison Office Manager, emphasised that beyond the benefits of modern medical equipment, the strong connection between different generations of doctors has played a crucial role in enhancing expertise, fostering a professional work environment, and building a hospital dedicated to effective and compassionate treatment.
