From the 2nd of December 2019, FV Hospital was thrilled to welcome Dr Tu Duy officially as the new Head of Internal Medicine.
Dr Tu Duy graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City in 1993. He then went on to fill the following roles; working as an internal practitioner at the Adult High-Dependency Unit, Tropical Diseases Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, in Internal Medicine at Gia Dinh Hospital, and then at the Pulmonology & Nephrology Department at Cho Ray Hospital. In 1997, Dr Tu Duy achieved a Specialization Degree Level I – General Practice; in 2003, Dr Tu Duy completed a Master’s degree inMedicine; and in 2013, he went on to acquire a PhD in Cell & Molecular Biology from University of Arkensas, USA.
From 1998, Dr Tu Duy practiced clinically in many specialities in the Internal Medicine Department at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City, where he worked as a lecturer. Dr Tu Duy also practiced at the Nephrology Department of Monash Medical Centre, in Melbourne, Australia when he was a clinical post-graduate student at the International Society of Nephrology in 2000-2001.
With his specialized skills and many years of experience in Nephrology , Dr Tu Duy will help to develop FV Hospital’s Internal Medicine Department as well as bring new and effective diagnostic methods and treatment to patients.
