FV HOSPITAL PROVIDES MEDICAL SPONSORSHIP FOR THE 2024 UOB HEARTBEAT VIETNAM RUN

FV Hospital recently served as the medical sponsor for the UOB Heartbeat Vietnam Run 2024, a charity event dedicated to raising funds to help build a sustainable society by improving the lives of children and vulnerable communities. Held on 27th October 2024 at P2 Park in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, the event brought together over 1,500 participants, fostering a strong sense of community responsibility and solidarity.

The UOB Heartbeat Vietnam Run 2024 went beyond a sports event; it was a significant initiative to promote public health awareness. With nearly VND 700 million raised, the funds will go towards improving digital learning opportunities for disadvantaged children in the Mekong Delta and providing support to communities affected by storms and floods in Northern Vietnam.

FV Hospital participated with a dedicated medical team, on hand to assist runners with injuries and ensure everyone’s safety throughout the day. Despite a busy day, FV’s doctors and nurses effectively managed emergencies, prioritising the well-being of all participants.

The FV medical team provided support for injury cases throughout the running event.

This initiative is part of FV Hospital’s commitment to supporting community health and promoting a healthy lifestyle. FV is dedicated to partnering with the community to bring international healthcare standards closer to everyone, not only through sports activities but also through other meaningful programmes.

At this event, the ACC Chiropractic Clinic – a member of FV Hospital and well-known among runners – also provided enthusiastic support.  In addition to maintaining the athletes’ physical well-being, FV and ACC received considerable interest from participants regarding vaccination programmes, health check-up programmes, and the FV Membership Programme, as well as inquiries about spinal care and treatment.

FV Hospital and ACC Chiropractic Clinic collaborated to offer consultations on a range of examination programmes, providing participants with valuable and engaging information.

In addition to its role as an annual sporting event with a strong humanitarian focus, the UOB Heartbeat Vietnam Run also fosters connections within Ho Chi Minh City’s running community. FV Hospital looks forward to continuing its partnership with this impactful event, enhancing safety for sports enthusiasts and promoting the professional field of sports medicine in Vietnam.
