The Centre for Health Communication and Education (Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health) organised a meeting December 15 at FV Hospital to review health communication and education activities of all private hospitals in the city.
Among the participants were Mr Luong Van Minh, Deputy Director of the centre, representatives of the Department of Health and nearly 40 private hospitals.
Ms. Phan Thi Lan Huong, Patients Service Manager at FV, presented at the meeting the hospital’s communication and education activities. They include online and printed materials such as FV Family, Quality Journey, Healthy Living with FV, What’s Up?, and Health Enews. The target readers include doctors, nurses, patients and all FV staff members.
Dr Dang Van Tai, Planning and Finance deputy chief of the centre, made a review briefing on the activities at the private hospitals in the second half of 2016.
The meeting also discussed what to be done in 2017 as a whole and the first quarter of the year. One of the important directions is to continue to promote health communication and education activities to patients and their relatives.
The delegates also toured FV to observe the recent developments at the hospital, including the Golden Seal of Approval issued by JCI, the most rigorous international organisation to assess healthcare service quality worldwide.
