On October 22, 2025, FV Hospital hosted a public seminar titled “Healthy Ageing – Nutrition and Musculoskeletal Healthcare Strategies for Elderly” on 3rd Floor, F Building. In a warm, positive atmosphere, nearly 50 attendees joined an engaging, informative session focused on maintaining strength, vitality and confidence in later life.

A Journey of Knowledge and Self-Empowerment in Health
The seminar was not solely a listening session but also a meaningful exchange where participants gained valuable and practical insights from FV’s leading specialists.
Dr Do Thanh Long, Specialist Level 1- Geriatric Department opened the session with a blend of humour and empathy, offering clear perspectives on health care in older age. Through an engaging interactive forum, attendees learned to reframe common geriatric health issues with optimism and picked up simple, effective ways to support well-being at home. The session left participants with practical, usable takeaways.

Following this, Dr Nguyen Thi Kim Huong, Specialist Level II – Rheumatology Unit, Internal Medicine Department addressed common concerns about osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. Her clear and informative explanations of causes and advanced treatment options reassured participants that maintaining strong, flexible bones and joints is achievable. Notably, FV offers a modern biological treatment for osteoporosis requiring only one injection every six months.

A highlight of the seminar was Specialist Level II, Nguyen Viet Quynh Thu, MD, MSc – Head of Dietetics & Nutrition Department, who shared nutritional strategies for healthy ageing. Her sharing added a practical dimension to health care. She transformed the concept of diet into an art of joyful living – how to eat well, digest easily, and select foods that nourish bones and support heart health. Attendees left with the empowering belief that every meal is a smart investment in long-term health.
