FVH Organises Many Activities For World Antibiotic Awareness Week 2018

Do you know that Vietnam is among the countries with the highest rates of antibiotic resistance? Do you know the common causes of antibiotic resistance, and how to prevent it?

Learn about this serious health risk during “World Antibiotic Awareness Week” at FV Hospital from November 12 to 18, 2018.

Associate Professor Le Thi Anh Thu – President of Ho Chi Minh City Infection Control Society – will give a talk on antibiotic resistance from 12 pm to 2 pm on Friday, November 16.

Multiple departments will perform as a flash mob at 10 am on November 12 and November 16, 2018; visitors and staff can also participate in games and antibiotic-related Q&A for chances to win special rewards.

The highlight of the programme is a poster design contest themed “How to prevent antibiotic resistance”. Share your perception of this issue creatively on A2 sheets using any material (oil paint, watercolours, clothing, paper, etc.) – the most unique ideas will win cash prizes of up to VND 5 million. If you’re struggling for inspiration, feel free to team up with your colleagues!

Please note that entries that don’t fit the theme or are taken from the internet or other media will be disqualified.

Rewards:

  • 1st Price 5 million VND
  • 2nd Price 4 million VND
  • 3rd Price 2 million VND

Award winning works must meet the following criteria:

  • 20% of creativity,
  • 20% of theme following,
  • 40% of inspiration,
  • 20% of votes by employees and the community when being exhibited at the ground floor on November 12 and November 13, 2018 (note: you can only vote once).

Deadline for entries from now until 8 am on 12/11/2018. The results will be announced on November 14, Each employee can submit up to 3 posters.
