Miss Huong Giang, Actress Tang Thanh Ha, and MC Hong Phuong Share Their Pregnancy and Childbirth Journeys at FV

For the first time, three prominent figures in Vietnam’s entertainment industry, beauty queen Huong Giang, actress Tang Thanh Ha, and MC Hong Phuong, came together to share their childbirth experiences. They spoke about the emotional journey of pregnancy, the challenges they faced, and the personal choices they made around labour and delivery while welcoming their babies at the Maternity Department of FV Hospital.

Miss Huong Giang: Choosing FV Because “Doctors Are Always By My Side”

Known for her meticulous planning in major life decisions, Huong Giang began preparing for motherhood early. She proactively underwent health check-ups, completed all recommended vaccinations, and carefully researched her options before deciding where her baby would be born.

She hesitated between giving birth overseas or in Vietnam. However, after visiting FV Hospital and receiving detailed consultations from the medical team, she and her husband decided to entrust her pregnancy to FV.

During her first pregnancy, Huong Giang’s joy was accompanied by significant anxiety when she was diagnosed with placenta previa, a condition that requires careful monitoring and close medical supervision. Fortunately, thanks to the attentive follow-up by FV’s obstetricians, who clearly explained each medical indicator and provided detailed guidance for daily activities, she gradually regained peace of mind and confidence as her pregnancy progressed.

“What reassured me the most was the feeling that the doctors were always by my side. Every change in my body was explained clearly and gently, in a way that was very easy to understand,” Huong Giang recalled.

FV Hospital is where Huong Giang and her husband welcomed their two children: baby Tieu Panda, born in 2013, and baby Polar, born in 2016. To this day, she still vividly remembers the moment she first heard her children’s first cries. In both deliveries, her husband remained by her side for constant support, and immediately after birth, the medical team facilitated skin-to-skin contact between mother and baby. These moments were carefully preserved and remain treasured memories for her family.

After childbirth, the Miss Asia 2009 shared that the nurses and caregivers at FV took exceptional care of her. As a first-time mother with many uncertainties, she received clear guidance on everything from breastfeeding to post-surgical wound care. She jokingly recalled, “I even teased my husband that I didn’t want to be discharged, because staying at FV was just too comfortable and pleasant.”

For her, FV provided complete peace of mind throughout the entire childbirth journey.

Actress Tang Thanh Ha: “Choosing FV for Its Professionalism and Peace of Mind”

FV Hospital has been the trusted healthcare provider for Tang Thanh Ha and her family for nearly two decades. When she became pregnant, giving birth at FV felt like a natural choice, much like returning to a place that was already familiar and dependable.

In both of her deliveries at FV, what gave the actress the greatest peace of mind was the constant sense of companionship and understanding from the obstetricians, nurses, and midwives. One of her most vivid memories was when her firstborn needed to stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for 10 days. As a first-time mother, that period was marked by pressure, anxiety, and intense emotions. The doctors and nurses’ constant presence and meticulous care for her baby helped her gradually regain her calm.

“The day my baby was discharged, I hugged each and every one of them to say thank you. I am truly grateful that FV was by my side during the very first days of my motherhood journey, helping to ease so many of my fears and worries,” Ha shared.

Having given birth to both of her children at FV Hospital, the actress said it is a place where she clearly felt a balance between strong medical expertise and dedicated, compassionate care. She summed up her experience in three words: “professional and reassuring.”

MC Hong Phuong: “For Me, FV Is the Right and Wonderful Choice”

MC Hong Phuong’s journey of giving birth at FV began with a special coincidence. While pregnant with her daughter Dau and experiencing some health concerns, she followed the advice of Dr Bui Chi Thuong to choose FV for prenatal care. Trusting FV’s professional standards and its ability to manage complex pregnancies, Dr Thuong has long recommended that expectant mothers requiring special care be monitored and treated at FV Hospital.

From her very first visit to FV, Hong Phuong clearly felt a sense of warmth, not only from the hospital’s medical expertise, but also from the dedication of the doctors and nurses. Their clear explanations and thoughtful guidance helped her feel reassured throughout her pregnancy, allowing her to approach childbirth with a calm and relaxed mindset.

After undergoing a caesarean section as advised by her doctor, she was deeply moved by the care she received, from meticulous post-operative wound management to the heartfelt encouragement and emotional support provided by the team of doctors and nurses.

“I could feel the gentleness in every gesture as the nurses cared for my baby. Just being in their hands, the baby was always comfortable and smiling. As a new mother, you can be quite sensitive, but the way the midwives cared for and showed concern made me feel like they were family members. There was no distance between patients and staff—it all felt very natural, never awkward, which helped me open up as well. I also have a body type that makes breastfeeding difficult, but thanks to the dedicated guidance from the doctors, I was able to exclusively breastfeed my baby for the first six months,” Hong Phuong shared.

The experience of giving birth to baby Dau left Hong Phuong with a deep sense of fulfilment. She affirmed that if she were to give birth again, FV would remain her best and most wonderful choice.
