Shining star of Feb 2024

In February 2024, FV Shining Star award went to a very familiar face within the FV Family – Do Van Dat (Linen & Housekeeping Department). His youthful spirit, dynamism, and enthusiasm have contributed to a well-deserved recognition this month.

Throughout over 7 years working at FV, with his vibrant attitude and unlimited collaboration with colleagues, Dat quickly became an indispensable part of the Linen & Housekeeping Department. “At FV, I feel that the working environment is very friendly and comfortable. My supervisor is also approachable and lovely, just like a friend,” Dat happily recalled.

Not only recognised as being proficient, Dat is also considered by his superiors and colleagues as a good supporter, always willing to share his experience and ideas with others. He believes that this attitude will help his work and his colleagues’ better. In fact, some of Dat’s proposals have helped improve the workflow and enhance the efficiency of the Linen & Housekeeping Department.

Dat shared: “Working always has its challenges, but overall, my job has not been too stressful so far and I really enjoy what I do.” The solidarity within the Linen & Housekeeping Department has helped boost their work coordination. Additionally, his passion for travelling, exercising, and connecting with others are factors that helped Dat find joy in his daily work.

For many members of the FV Family, Dat has been popular in the hospital’s “art performances”. His enthusiastic participation and flexibility in performances have brought joyful emotions to many colleagues. Dat told us that he is also very grateful for such opportunities. It helped him gain joy, learning experiences, and connections with many colleagues that would be difficult to come by in daily work. This further enhances FV’s image in him, making it more warm and familiar.

Dat believed: “I think every job requires effort, and with one’s utmost dedication, good things will come.” The enthusiasm of a young person in any job brings benefits to others – especially to patients – that brought the beautiful image of diligence and bright colours in life. In Dat and other staff of the Linen & Housekeeping Department, their hard work has brought lightness and freshness to many others at FV.

Once again, congratulations to you, Mr Do Van Dat, on being awarded with the February FV Shining Star. We wish you continued growth, joy in your work, and that you successfully pursue your dreams in the future.
