More than just a sports event, the Saigon Women’s 10s Rugby Tournament, held on 10 May at Bermuda Field, ETIHAD Sports Park, District 12, Ho Chi Minh City, marked a historic milestone for the rugby community in Vietnam – as the nation’s first-ever 10-a-side rugby competition exclusively for women.

The Saigon Women’s 10s Rugby Tournament marks a groundbreaking moment as Vietnam’s first-ever women-only 10-a-side rugby competition.

The tournament brought together 50 athletes from across the region and more than 200 supporters, creating a vibrant, high-energy atmosphere centred on sportsmanship. Matches ran from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, followed with an awards ceremony and team networking activities.
