FV Hospital Recognised as One of the Top 10 ASEAN Green Growth Brands 2025

FV Hospital was honoured to receive the “Top 10 ASEAN Green Growth Brands 2025” award at the 6th ASEAN Economic Forum, standing out as the only healthcare institution in the region to be recognised in this category.

The accolade was presented at the ASEAN Economic Forum 2025, held on 16 August in Singapore, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of Vietnam’s accession to ASEAN. Centred on the theme “ASEAN Economic Integration in the Era of Growth,” the forum brought together hundreds of leading enterprises across healthcare, finance, energy, technology, tourism, and other sectors in the region. As a prestigious annual event rotating among member states, the ASEAN Economic Forum serves as a platform for businesses to strengthen their position, expand cooperation, and enhance their brands in the context of integration and sustainable development.

The ASEAN Green Growth Brands Award is one of the Forum’s key distinctions, recognising organisations that successfully balance economic growth with environmental protection while advancing sustainable development in line with social goals. FV Hospital’s inclusion in the Top 10 ASEAN Green Growth Brands not only reaffirms its commitment to the community but also stands as a source of pride for Vietnam’s healthcare sector on the international stage.

Ms Pham Thi Thanh Mai, Chief Operating Officer of FV Hospital, accepted the award on the hospital’s behalf.

Speaking about the award, Ms Pham shared: “This is a great honour for FV and all our staff. We believe that healthcare goes beyond treating illness – it must also go hand in hand with sustainability, contributing to a healthier society and a better living environment.”

The recognition at the ASEAN Award 2025 underscores the early successes of FV’s long-term strategy and reinforces the hospital’s vision of becoming a pioneering green hospital in Vietnam.

For more than 20 years, FV Hospital has established itself as one of Vietnam’s leading providers of international-standard healthcare. The hospital continues to invest in modern infrastructure, workforce development, and advanced technology, while adhering to globally recognised quality standards, including JCI, HAS, and ISO 15189:2022.

FV is the first hospital in Southern Vietnam to achieve JCI accreditation four consecutive times since 2016.

In recent years, FV has placed increasing emphasis on sustainability and environmental responsibility by implementing energy management systems, optimising electricity and water use, ensuring international-standard medical waste treatment, adopting electronic medical records to reduce paper consumption, and expanding green spaces to provide a safe, welcoming environment for both patients and staff.

Beyond internal initiatives, FV actively supports the development of Vietnam’s medical workforce through training programmes for newly graduated doctors and nurses. In collaboration with leading medical universities in the country, the hospital also provides training opportunities for medical residents who wish to gain experience in an international-standard healthcare setting.

FV’s training programme for young doctors is highly regarded for its modern approach.

In addition, the hospital actively participates in social programmes, supports community sports initiatives, engages in research collaboration, and shares clinical experience with universities and international medical organisations to enhance professional knowledge. Together, these activities provide a strong foundation for FV to serve as a model private hospital in Vietnam amid the process of ASEAN and global integration.

The “Top 10 ASEAN Green Growth Brands 2025” award reflects FV’s long-term vision and development strategy, while also marking a milestone that highlights the role of Vietnamese enterprises in advancing sustainable healthcare. This achievement further enhances Vietnam’s reputation as a dynamic, innovative nation, aligned with the global green growth trend.
