Seminar: Cross-linking technology & new advances in the treatment of corneal pathologies

A conical cornea is a disorder of the cornea that makes the cornea thinner gradually over time. A thinning cornea will bulge out into a conical shape, changing eyes’ refractive ability. This syndrome dramatically increases astigmatism and will result in poor vision.

Recently, the cross-linking method was introduced as an advanced, focused and efficient treatment for conical cornea and other corneal pathologies with better recovery times.

In order to provide updated information on the latest technology for corneal pathologies, including cross-linking, SMILE, Boston K-Pro artificial corneal transplant and selective corneal transplant techniques, FV Hospital will corporate with Singapore National Eye Centre to organise the public Healthy Living with FVseminar Cross-Linking Technology & New Advances in the Treatment of Corneal Pathologies.
