‘Clear eyes, bright future’ Enjoy discounts of up to 20% on treatment of refractive errors with LASIK Technology at FV Hospital

Modern life increased use of TV screens, phones and computers increases refractive errors, known as farsightedness, astigmatism and nearsightedness, the latter of which is the most common. Although not dangerous, refractive errors can create inconveniences in our day-to-day lives, and many people would like to restore their vision and quality of life.

It’s very important to choose a reputable hospital which offers optimal conditions for performing LASIK procedures safely for a reasonable price, especially during the pandemic.

Understanding those concerns, from November 1, 2021 to February 28, 2022, FV Hospital’s Ophthalmology and Refractive Surgery Department will offer a special promotion programme with discounts of up to 20% on Refractive Surgery via traditional LASIK, Femtosecond LASIK or refractive correction with corneal crosslinking, enabling patients to enjoy safe, international-standard services.

Through this preferential programme, the package costs to treat both eyes is only:

  • Lasik surgery package, now VND 21,400,000 (originally VND 26,800,000)
  • Lasik surgery with corneal crosslinking treatment package (or Lasik Xtra), now VND 33,440,000 (originally VND 41,800,000)
  • Femto-second Lasik surgery package, now VNĐ 41,000,000 (originally VND 47,400,000)
  • Femto-second Lasik surgery with corneal crosslinking treatment package (or Femto-second Lasik Xtra), now VND 54,000,000 (originally VND 62,400,000)

Why is surgery at FV Hospital different?

  • All procedures are performed by expert Dr Nguyen Thi Mai – Head of Ophthalmology and Refractive Surgery;

With corneal crosslinking treatment

AdvantageDuration of operation: 15 mins

Laser exposure time: tens of seconds for each eye.

High degree of safety.

Eyesight is restored immediately after surgery.

Special advantage

Reinforces the cornea’s durability

Reduces the risk of corneal edema and prevents redevelopment of myopia

Subjects

People aged from 18 with myopia, hypermetropia, or astigmatism with stable refraction.

Special subjects

Specially applied to people with high degree of refraction and thin corneas
ProcedureStep 1:

Creating a thin flap in the cornea using a computer-controlled surgical blade, then flipping the cornea flap to expose the parenchyma beneath.

Step 2:

Using the excimer laser, pulses of light are directed at the eye to reshape the cornea.

Step 3:

Repositioning the corneal flap.

Step 2:

Using the excimer laser, pulses of light are directed at the eye to reshape the cornea, correcting refraction.

Step 3:

Repositioning the corneal flap.

Step 4:

Dropping Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) onto the cornea to absorb into the corneal parenchyma.

Step 5:

The riboflavin-soaked cornea is illuminated with ultra-violet A (UVA) light. The light cross-links the collagen fibers within the cornea, making it stronger.
