On 27th December 2021, a copy of the “Positive COVID-19 PCR Test Certificate” is circulating on the internet, which states that a patient named “Le Hoang Duy Khang” was performed a PCR test at FV Hospital and the result was “POSITIVE for the SARS-COV2 virus type: OMICRON” using the name and stamp of FV Hospital. FV Hospital confirms that the information is completely falsification.
The above information is also attracting attention on both official press channels and social networks. In order to avoid unnecessary confusion and misunderstanding, FV Hospital would like to confirm that the Certificate is completely false in both form design and content, particularly:
- At FV Hospital, we do not issue “Positive COVID-19 PCR Test Certificate” but only “Negative COVID-19 PCR Test Certificate” with an authentic QR code for each sample individually as shown below.
- On our hospital’s database, there is no patient named “Le Hoang Duy Khang”.
- Currently, we do not have biological products (kits) to test for SARS-COV-2 Omicron variant.
The forged documents and spreading false information not only adversely affects the operation of FV Hospital but also causes confusion for the whole city. Ho Chi Minh City, as well as the people of the whole country, can seriously affect COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control activities in the developing situation of the whole country. Therefore, we respectfully request that you support the dissemination of this information to the people, and at the same time prevent the spread of this harmful information. We will take legal action to anyone who knowingly creates and/or spreads this false information and material.
On April 3rd, 2020, the Ministry of Health officially licensed FV as the first non-public hospital in Vietnam to conduct and confirm SARS-CoV-2 test results. FV Hospital’s Laboratory and Blood Bank Department uses modern RT-PCR testing technology for highly accurate results in just a few hours. All screening, sampling and testing procedures strictly comply with biosecurity regulations of WHO, CDC and the Ministry of Health to ensure the safety of patients, staff and the community.
