With over 30 years of experience in Emergency and Intensive Care, Dr Trinh Van Hai has left a significant mark in rescuing and caring for patients. After a term serving as the Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board at FV Hospital, he has once again been elected to the board by his colleagues and will assume the role of Vice Chairman for the new term.
Graduating from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City in 1992, Dr Trinh Van Hai continuously enhances his expertise through training programmes both in Vietnam and France. Over his 30-year medical career, Dr Hai has earned the admiration of many; not only for his professional competence but also for his warmth and sense of responsibility. He is regarded as a proactive member contributing to FV’s mission of providing internationally-standardised healthcare services.
Dr Hai is highly regarded by many colleagues for his diagnostic and treatment capabilities. Ho Minh Tuan, MD, PhD, Head of the Cardiology Department at FV Hospital, states, “What impresses me most about Dr Hai is his ability to quickly diagnose and treat patients accurately at the initial stage, making subsequent care for other Doctors smoother and more effective.” This has enabled the FV medical team to save more patients, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to Do Trong Khanh, MD, PhD (Medical Director, FV Hospital), Dr Hai’s standout qualities include his unwavering spirit and empathy during critical and dangerous situations. Dr Hai’s patience, certainty, and his enthusiasm have been a significant source of motivation for the entire medical team, especially during the challenging times of 2021.
Over his 20-year dedication to FV, the “big brother” of the Accident & Emergency Department he was selected to lead the FV medical support team during the visits of U.S. President Barack Obama and French President François Hollande. Dr. Hai’s patience, professional ethics, and medical knowledge have demonstrated the trust of his colleagues, allowing him to maintain a crucial position in the Medical Advisory Board (MAB) at FV Hospital.
In his role as Vice Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board, Dr Trinh Van Hai shared, “I hope that in the new term, issues such as the rights and responsibilities of MAB members, how MAB can become the voice of doctors at FV, or the role of MAB, will be clarified and strengthened.” With the objective of maintaining and improving the quality of healthcare services, Dr Hai’s suggestions highlight challenges and “hot” issues that should be addressed by the Medical Advisory Board. This will ensure that the voices of doctors and the healthcare community at the hospital are always heard and valued, thereby promoting patient care standards at FV.
In his new role as Vice Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board at FV Hospital, Dr Trinh Van Hảa is expected to continue contributing opinions and helping to promote the sustainable development of FV.
