FV Hospital honours long-serving staff for their dedication

On the evening of 10 April 2026, the Staff Loyalty Recognition Ceremony took place in an atmosphere that was intimate and cheerful, yet undeniably elegant. The ceremony was attended by honourees, along with the Board of Directors, department heads and managers.

Opening the ceremony, Chief Executive Officer, Dr Jean-Marcel Guillon, shared a heartfelt reflection on the hospital’s ongoing development journey. He expressed his pride in the talented medical team and highlighted future projects, such as the FV da Vinci Robotic Surgery Centre and the H Building. “What is fascinating to me is that so many of you here have chosen to stay and work with me throughout these many years. Perhaps you are all just very lovely people, or I have done something right by you,” he remarked light-heartedly.

Dr Jean-Marcel Guillon noted that FV continues on a strong path of growth.

Representing the group of staff receiving 5-year service awards, Dr Pham Dang Tinh (Anaesthesiology Department) shared brief but powerful remarks. For him, five years at FV have been more than just a career in medicine, as he shared, ‘FV is more than just a workplace.”. He recalled a special story from over a year ago when he himself was a patient, having overcome a serious illness thanks to the dedication of his colleagues. This experience cemented his trust and bond with this “second family”.

For the 10-year milestone, Ms Nguyen Thi Nhu Y (Nursing – OPD) expressed her sincere gratitude to her mentors. Over the past decade, she has received dedicated guidance from her superiors, particularly Ms Tran Thi Thanh Cuc (Senior Nursing Manager). Ms Nhu Y shared that she hopes to continue her journey with her “lovely colleagues at FV” to keep learning and developing her career.

The atmosphere became even more engaging during the special recognition for Ms Tran Le Quyen (Chief Financial Officer). Although she is officially receiving her 15-year loyalty award, Ms Quyen has actually been involved with the FV project since its very beginning. “FV is like my identity; everything I have done for many years has been related to FV,” she shared emotionally.

She has achieved great success in hospital finance alongside FV.

She also offered special praise for Dr Jean-Marcel Guillon, her long-term mentor. “My boss has given me not only professional experience but also a vision. Because of that, everyone here, including myself, has been able to achieve things far beyond what we once thought possible,” she said with pride.

Moving to the proud 20-year milestone, Ms Nguyen Thi Chau Doai (Client Solutions & Consultancy Department) delighted the hall with a story from her early days. She recalled “accidentally” successfully sold 4 FV membership cards to a company simply by calling a number from a newspaper advertisement. That lucky coincidence began a two-decade journey of enthusiasm. “Since then, I have always believed that FV provides optimal solutions for customers, thanks to the human-centric direction from the leadership,” Ms Doai shared.

The ceremony concluded with a deeply formal and moving moment as the entire Board of Directors stepped forward to offer their congratulations. The entire hall rose in a warm round of applause to honour CEO Jean-Marcel Guillon for 25 years of vision and wholehearted dedication to the FV Family. If FV were a ship, Dr Jean-Marcel has been the resilient captain who has steered it through many highs and lows for a quarter of a century.

Dr Jean‑Marcel Guillon has spent 25 years pursuing the dream of bringing international healthcare to Vietnam

From the first foundations laid on marshland to becoming a prestigious JCI-accredited hospital, his influence is present in every step of its growth. He is viewed as both an outstanding manager and a symbol of devotion to Vietnamese healthcare. It can be said that he has spent the best years of his life turning the “FV dream” into reality.

The 2026 Staff Loyalty Recognition Ceremony once again serves as a testament to the strong bond among the members of the FV Family. Our deepest gratitude is extended to all those who have dedicated many years to accompanying FV. It is hoped that this flame of dedication will continue to spread, helping FV fulfil its mission of providing leading-quality healthcare in Asia.
